Sixteen FRESPACE volunteers gathered today at the beachfront campground to pick up debris from Hurricane Irma along the beach. The bulk of the debris
was located around Jeremy’s Inlet. You can see from the photos how significantly the beach has changed in this area. We gathered two trailer loads of debris. The exit from the beach to the campground had so much soft sand that we got the 4-wheel drive Honda stuck, and Mike had to pull it out with a tractor. A big thanks to our volunteers for working on this project. Pictures from this event can be found on our Flickr site.
