My name is Brendan Westley, and I am the new program specialist at Edisto Beach State Park. I am from Milford, Pennsylvania and graduated with a degree in Outdoor Recreation from East Stroudsburg University. I completed my internship at Oakland County Parks in Michigan and am a certified interpreter with the NAI (National Association of Interpretation). After my internship, I worked a seasonal park ranger job at Dead Horse Point State Park in Southern Utah. While at Dead Horse Point State Park, I not only did fee collecting and maintenance, but I also did interpretation programs. I am looking forward to meeting you here at Edisto Beach Environmental Learning Center.
