The Environmental Learning Center at Edisto Beach is a one of a kind facility. Located off of Palmetto Road, it offers a serene experience of the maritime forest and barrier islands. There is access to Big Bay Creek for recreational fishing and crabbing. The center focuses on protecting our coastal resources and ACE Basin. This environment gives a great opportunity to learn of the ecosystems on Edisto Island and other barrier islands.
