On May 19, 2023, six FRESPACE members performed trial maintenance on Scott Creek trail at Edisto Beach State Park. This project primarily consisted of pruning vegetation threatening to overgrow the trail. Scott Creek trail runs from Highway 174 until it intersects Spanish Mount trail. A highlight on this trail is the hammock island connected by a foot bridge across Scott Creek and a wooden board walk across the marsh.
