Yet another wonderful morning was spent on the state park beach installing sand fence. On March 19, seven FRESPACE members volunteered to assist two state park staff in installing 21 additional sections of sand fence along the shoreline near Jeremy Inlet. Sand fence helps mitigate erosion during storm events.
Thus far, FRESPACE has funded and helped install over one mile of fencing along the state park’s beach reaching from the campground toward Jeremy Inlet.
